to present spoiltpig, a very special, award
winning bacon carrying the RSPCA Freedom Food mark.
spoiltpig
bacon has been produced from animals reared on farms approved
under the Freedom Food scheme, which assesses conditions for
farm animals in accordance with welfare standards devised
and monitored by the RSPCA.
spoiltpig pigs are outdoor
reared. That means they spend over half their life outdoors
with free access to a wholesome, nutritious diet. They spend
the rest of their lives in straw barns where they are provided
with clean, dry and comfortable bedding. spoiltpig
customers can therefore be assured that the bacon they are
buying is of the highest standards with consistent quality
and taste, as well as the humane levels of animal welfare.
Hand-cured to traditional methods using sea salt,
spoiltpig is a delicious tasting bacon that
doesnn't shrink in the pan. spoiltpig is
available in smoked and unsmoked varieties. The award winning
bacon is only produced from pigs reared in
England or Scotland and the origin of all of our pork is fully
traceable. British from farm to fork.
spoiltpig back bacon and spoiltpig
smoked back bacon have both been awarded Gold at the Taste
of the West Awards 2009.
Denhay Farm makes
the only Freedom Food accredited cheddar in the Country, and
has integrated these beliefs and ethics into its new product
development with spoiltpig bacon. The
Freedom Food stamp provides consumers with reassurance and
reinforces credibility within the supply chain.
